Our Puppy Training

    Our goal is to socialize and train each puppy to its fullest potential during the time that they are with us. We start with basic puppy manners and an introduction to potty training and once the puppies have successfully mastered that we move on to basic crate training. We’ve had success with all the puppies, especially once they learn how to use the doggy-door. We had a special one put in that is see-through and it really helps the puppies associate the doggy-door with a sliding glass door or even a glass storm door.

 While the puppies are working on the basics of potty training and commands, we are also introducing them to as many sights, smells, and sounds as soon as possible to help them learn about the world around them. 

    Once the puppies hit the 8 week mark we really focus on teaching basic commands like come, sit, stay, and lay down. We also start them walking on a leash with a harness, which opens up a whole new world to explore when they go for walks with our adult dogs. Overall, we try our best to give all our puppies the best training that will help them succeed as they grow.
